Lucknow Junction is committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology used to browse it.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. We regularly review the site to improve keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, colour contrast and touch-target sizes.
What we do
- All images have meaningful alternative text.
- Navigation and forms can be used with only a keyboard.
- Interactive elements have clear focus indicators.
- Text and background colours meet minimum contrast requirements.
- The site is responsive and works on mobile, tablet and desktop screens.
- Dropdown menus can be opened with a mouse, keyboard or touch screen.
Third-party content
Some pages include third-party widgets such as the ResOS reservation system. We encourage those providers to maintain accessible services and we monitor their embeds for compatibility.
